Live countdown events · charities, brands, communities

Last one standing wins.

LΛSTR turns fundraising and giveaways into a live game. Players take a seat, use their bids, and every bid in the final seconds resets the clock. When time runs out, the last bidder wins. Every move is recorded on the blockchain, so anyone can check the result.

Any bid with 10 seconds or less on the clock resets it to 10.

You have 3 bids. Use them wisely.

How it works

Four steps, about ten seconds to learn.

No auctions to follow and no prices to watch. Players get a fixed number of bids and one goal: be the last to bid.

01

Take a seat

Each player buys one seat before the event starts. That's the only payment. Nobody pays more later.

02

Get your bids

Every seat comes with the same number of bids. Bids have no cash value. They're your moves in the game.

03

Reset the clock

When the clock is in its final seconds, a bid sends it back up. Timing matters more than speed.

04

Be the last

When the clock reaches zero, the last player to bid wins the prize. The result is final and public.

Minimum playersIf an event doesn't reach its minimum number of seats before it starts, it's cancelled and everyone is refunded automatically.

Who it's for

One engine, many reasons to run an event.

Charities & nonprofits

A fundraiser people want to join.

Galas cost a lot to organise, and donors are tired of being asked. With LΛSTR, supporters take a $5, $10 or $50 seat for a shot at a real prize, and they stay for the show.

  • No venue, catering or ticketing to pay for
  • Prize can be a product, delivered to the winner
  • Public results build trust with your supporters
Brands & businesses

Giveaways that hold attention.

A countdown keeps people on the page for minutes instead of seconds. Launch a product, reward customers, or build a list around a live moment.

  • Live audience at a set time
  • Your prize, your branding
  • Results anyone can verify
Creators & communities

A live event for your audience.

Run a countdown during a stream or a community night. Everyone plays together, and the final seconds make the moment.

  • Built-in event chat
  • Public leaderboards
  • Short events, big finishes

Payments and proof

Pay by card or crypto. Every result goes on the blockchain.

Players pay the way they prefer. Whatever the payment method, every event writes its full history to a public ledger anchored on Solana. Your supporters don't need a crypto wallet to benefit from blockchain proof.

Fundraising calculator

See what one event could raise.

All the money comes from seats. The winner never pays anything after the game, so the numbers are known before the event starts.

Provably fair

Nothing hidden. Check it yourself.

Each bid is chained to the one before it with a cryptographic hash. Change one line and every hash after it breaks. Snapshots of the chain are written to Solana during and after every event.

Same inputs, same result

The game engine is deterministic. Replay an event's bids and you get the same winner, the same timing and the same payout.

One authority per event

A single process orders every bid, so two people can never "both" be last.

Automatic payouts and refunds

Payouts run once, and only once. Cancelled events refund every seat without anyone pressing a button.

The story

An idea fifteen years in the making.

2011

2016

OOBOX

The countdown concept ran online as OOBOX from 2016 to 2023.

Today

Rebuilt from scratch with a verifiable engine, blockchain proof, and card or crypto payments.

Questions

Good to know.

Do players need a crypto wallet?

Not for card events. A wallet is only needed for events paid in crypto. Either way, the results are recorded on the blockchain.

How long does an event last?

You choose the starting clock and the reset time. Most events run for a few minutes. The finish is decided by how many bids players have left and when they use them.

What can the prize be?

A product, like a TV or a trip, or a share of the seat money. For product prizes we can handle delivery to the winner.

What if not enough people join?

Each event has a minimum number of seats. If it isn't reached before the start, the event is cancelled and every seat is refunded automatically.

Can I run LΛSTR on my own website?

An embeddable version for partner websites is in early access. Tell us about your organisation below and we'll get in touch.

How do I know the result wasn't changed?

Every event has a public ledger. Each bid is linked to the previous one by a hash, and the chain is anchored on Solana. Anyone can recompute it.
